Windows XP Service Pack 3 RC1

Yep, the Release Candidate 1 of SP3 is ready and can be downloaded via Microsoft Connect. I’m installing it right now.

Those who don’t have Connect can download it via Microsoft Update. You just need to save this file as *.bat and open it:
[removed on request - if you need it go to connect.microsoft.com]

or ask me at: fifi5000[a---t]gmail[dooot]com

And now just check for updates in Microsoft Update :D

Oh, i recommend you uninstalling previous beta of SP3 first.

UPDATE:
Just installed :)

    It worked for me…
You have to use legal copy of XP… Maybe it just doesn’t work because of MS.
Here is a torrent with a release of XP with SP3 already integrated: http://thepiratebay.org/tor/3897640/Windows_XP_SP3_RC1_V.3244 :)

    Cheers!

Can anyone just list down and give me changes made in SP3. Are those changes really worth or will bring down the performance of the system down by increase in demand of resources required?
