Yep, the Release Candidate 1 of SP3 is ready and can be downloaded via Microsoft Connect. I’m installing it right now.
Those who don’t have Connect can download it via Microsoft Update. You just need to save this file as *.bat and open it:

And now just check for updates in Microsoft Update 
Oh, i recommend you uninstalling previous beta of SP3 first.

Six days ago i wrote about my Rapidshare premium account. I have to tell you that when file is like 40 – 60 parts it’s sooo boring to download it – everytime copying link, pastling it in new tab address in browser, clicking premium, loging on and chosing the server (i’m lazzy – that explains all 
).
And i’ve found something perfect for me – small (200 kb) application called RapGet. It is easy to use downloader from file hosting services like Rapidshare, MegaUpload, SendSpace, etc. In fact, it supports about 70 services (full list on the official website). This tool is realy useful and very easy to use. It takes just few minutes to set up config that will be ideal for you. It supports things like proxy, premium accounts and even adds links to downloader after just copying them. After finishing downloading one file it can automaticly start downloading another. And it has supprot for 48 languages. Another good thing is great interface. Everything works just perfectly! RapGet is a must-have for anyone who download much from free-but-not-so-free file hosting services!

Yes, after years of cheating the Rapidshare service, today i have decided to buy my own premium account. It is not so expensive, i payed 6.99 EUR for 1 month. It was realy worth of it. You know, i just love warez ;P … i downloaded 2 movies and 3 games already (i bought it today morning). Of course, if you have dynamic IP you can renew it… but i dont have one. I have static and shared IP… shared with thousands of customers using same ISP i am using. What does it mean? It basicly means that if there are even only 2000 customers (it’s a small, local ISP) and even if only 10% of them is using rapidshare, lets say one time per day it gives us 0.1 * 2000 = 200 customers per day. So 200 downloads per day. And how many people can download from one ip per day? Hmmm… Let’s say one file downloads 30 minutes (100 MB in polish reality) and than you have to wait about 60 minutes (sometimes even longer) so 1.5h per file. 24 / 1.5 = 16 files downloaded daily…
What else could i try? the renew IP command will take no effect as it is static IP. Well… i can search for proxy server, right. Those extremly slow ways to mask your IP address are quite popular toady. So no chance if i will google for “free proxy servers list” – most of them will be already used by RS leechers already or not working or slow as hell.
So i think it was totaly worth of it. I have the luck i’ve got PayPal account and a credit card and i had few euros inside. Oh, btw, if you want to make some money over internet for free i recommend you that site. It’s not a phishing site or something like that. And you maybe dont earn a lot of money, but hey, it works
